Colin Bone - Director
Colin founded Steelers International Ltd on the back of 12 years experience with Bone Steel Ltd, one of the largest steel fabrication and construction companies in the United Kingdom and Middle East, laterly as Managing Director and remains as a Non-Executive Director of Bone Group. In 2005 he was elected Chairman of the British Constructional Steelwork Association and was a Director and member of Council. He was educated at Loretto School, Musselburgh and studied a BSc in Building Engineering and Management at Napier University , Edinburgh after which he attended London Business School. He is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Building and was included in the 2006 edition of the 'Who's Who of Britain's Young Entrepreneurs'.
Tony Pedder - Senior Advisor
Tony has over thirty years experience in the metals industry and is a former Chief Executive of Corus and the current Chairman of Sheffield Forgemasters International Ltd. Tony joined the steel industry in 1972 and held a number of senior management posts in British Steel prior to becoming Managing Director of its Stainless Steel business in 1986. In 1989 he was appointed Managing Director of the General Steels business, which encompassed all long product activities.
In 1991 he headed up the Groups procurement and logistics operations and was responsible for the commercial policy and world-wide distribution business. He joined the Board of British Steel in 1992. Prior to the creation of Corus he was also responsible for British Steel's Strip Products business.
When Corus was formed he became a director of the Board and was responsible for the Corus Strip Products business in the Netherlands and UK, as well as being Vice Chairman of AvestaPolarit before being appointed Group Chief Executive in 2001.
Tony holds a BSc in Mathematics and a MSc in Operational Research and Management Studies from London University.
